10″ Plain Back Silicon Carbide (SiC) Grinding Paper

10 inch plain back silicon carbide (SiC) grinding paper discs are intended for metallographic applications where adhesive backing is not required. The durable plain paper backing is well suited for use with mechanical clamping systems, fixtures, or manual grinding setups where discs must be repositioned or reused.

This collection includes 10″ (250 mm) diameter SiC grinding paper across a full range of grit sizes. Grits from 60/P60 through 600/P1200 are electrostatically coated to deliver efficient material removal and uniform scratch patterns during coarse and intermediate grinding. Fine grits from 800/P2400 through 1200/P4000 are slurry coated, providing improved abrasive retention and enhanced control for precision grinding prior to polishing.

Plain back 10″ SiC grinding paper is commonly used on semi-automated and floor-standing grinding systems for the preparation of steels, aluminum alloys, copper alloys, and cast materials. These discs are compatible with most standard 10″ platens and integrate easily into standardized metallographic preparation workflows.
