10 in PSA Silicon Carbide (SiC) Grinding Paper

10 inch PSA silicon carbide (SiC) grinding paper discs are designed for metallographic laboratories using larger platens that require secure disc mounting and consistent grinding performance. The pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing ensures flat, slip-free attachment, making these discs well suited for routine production work and high-throughput grinding.

This collection includes 10 in (250 mm) diameter SiC grinding paper discs across a full range of grit sizes. Grits from 60/P60 through 600/P1200 are electrostatically coated to provide efficient material removal and uniform scratch patterns during coarse and intermediate grinding. Fine grits from 800/P2400 through 1200/P4000 are slurry coated, offering improved abrasive retention and enhanced control for precision grinding steps prior to polishing.

PSA-backed 10 in SiC grinding paper is commonly used on semi-automated and floor-standing grinding systems for the preparation of steels, aluminum alloys, copper alloys, and cast materials. These discs are compatible with most standard 10 in platens and integrate easily into standardized metallographic preparation workflows.
