Metallographic Cutting Fluids

CoolSec and CoolSec 2 cutting fluids are specially formulated to enhance protection during metallographic sample sectioning. By reducing heat and efficiently removing swarf from the cutting contact point, these fluids help minimize specimen damage while maximizing blade performance. Versatile and effective, CoolSec cutting fluids are compatible with both abrasive and precision saws.

CoolSec metallurgical cutting fluid is our standard cutting fluid. Excellent for non-ferrous sectioning applications.
Concentrated formula - Mix with water at 1:25 to 2:25 parts.

CoolSec 2 offers a higher concentration of cooling properties compared to CoolSec. Additionally, CoolSec 2 includes an additive called CorrosionGuard, for maximum protection from oxidation. Recommended when cutting of ferrous metals.
